In the first week of class, the topic that I studied and explored was Introduction to Communication. Initially, I felt excitement and curiosity to learn and my understanding evolved as I engaged with the topic's content. This topic talks about how communication is unquestionably a fundamental aspect of human interaction, influencing our personal, professional and societal experiences. I am impressed by how it affects our self-perception and the perceptions of others towards us as strong interpersonal can grow consequential relationships whereas public communication boosts confidence and endorsement abilities.
This emphasized not only the practical advantages of mastering communication but in the meantime, it is importance in personal development and self-awareness. In addition, understanding communication as a fluid and symbolic process has increased my appreciation for how cultural and contextual elements control our exchanges.
