If you want wireless audio that keeps you connected to your team while working long shifts, choose SOAR NBA True; if you need a portable, full-size instrument for practice on the go, choose MARVTOWN 88Keys. These two products serve completely different masters: one is designed for the rhythm of a hospital shift or a game day, and the other is built for the melody of a beginner's first practice session. Choosing between them isn't about which brand is louder or cheaper; it is about whether your immediate priority is immersive sound isolation for listening or the tactile freedom of playing music anywhere. For nurses specifically, who often need to block out background noise while staying aware of their environment, the choice becomes even more distinct depending on whether they are seeking entertainment during a break or a tool for creative expression in a quiet moment.
• SOAR NBA True offers over 10 hours of continuous battery life with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and an officially licensed design, but lacks active noise cancellation and weighted keys.
• MARVTOWN 88Keys provides a full 88-key roll-up interface with MIDI support and multiple input ports, yet its battery lasts only about 4 hours and the keys are not weighted like a traditional piano.
• The SOAR pick is ideal for someone needing all-day wireless audio without wires, while the MARVTOWN pick suits a musician or student requiring a travel-friendly keyboard with real piano feel.
The SOAR NBA True Wireless Earbuds V.2 are engineered for people who value convenience and team spirit above all else. If you are a nurse looking for wireless headphones for nurses that won't fall out during a busy 12-hour shift, these earbuds fit that bill perfectly. The design features an in-ear placement made from plastic, ensuring they stay secure while you move through hospital corridors or stand at a bedside. They utilize Bluetooth 5.0 technology, which means you can connect wirelessly to smartphones and tablets without the frustration of tangled cords. This wireless freedom is crucial when you need to take hands-free calls directly from the earbuds using the built-in microphone, allowing you to coordinate with colleagues or family without fumbling with a phone.
One of the most compelling aspects of this product is the battery performance. The specifications list an average battery life of 10 hours, which is substantial enough to cover a standard workday or a long drive to watch a game. You do not have to worry about the charge dying halfway through your shift. The included portable charging case allows for easy recharging on the go, ensuring you can keep enjoying your favorite playlists or podcasts without interruption. The control buttons are simple push-button mechanisms located directly on the earbuds, making it easy to answer or end calls, play, pause music, and manage your playlist with a quick tap.

However, these earbuds are not for everyone. They do not feature any form of active noise control, meaning they rely solely on the passive seal of the in-ear design to dampen outside sounds. If you require total silence in a chaotic environment, these might not provide the isolation you need. Additionally, the color is determined by the specific team logo, so you are locked into the official team colors rather than a neutral aesthetic. This makes them perfect for sports fans who want to show their pride while listening to music, but less suitable for those who prefer a minimalist look. The lack of a headphone jack and the reliance on wireless connectivity also mean you cannot plug them into older equipment without an adapter.
The MARVTOWN 88Keys Flexible Roll Up Piano is a unique solution for musicians, students, and parents who want to introduce music into their lives without the burden of a heavy, stationary instrument. This device is particularly relevant for anyone searching for the best deep bass gaming headset for nurses who also happen to be pianists, as it offers a way to compose or practice during rare moments of downtime. The defining feature here is the flexibility. With 88 standard keys, it mimics the layout of a grand piano, but it folds up into a compact size that fits in a bag. This portability is unmatched by traditional digital pianos, making it an excellent companion for traveling, picnics, or moving between rooms in a home where space is limited.
For beginners, the feature set is robust. It includes 108 demonstration songs and 128 tones, covering a wide range of sounds from classical to modern styles. The ability to record your own performances via the recording button is a fantastic tool for self-assessment and improvement. Connectivity is another major strength; it supports USB MIDI and wireless MIDI, allowing you to hook up your phone, computer, or iPad to use apps like Perfect Piano or Pop Piano. The inclusion of a Type-C charging port means you can power it with standard phone chargers or power banks, adding to its versatility. The 3D surround sound from the built-in HI-FI speakers delivers a classic piano tone that satisfies the curiosity of all ages, from children to adults.
Despite its impressive feature list, there are significant trade-offs to consider. The key travel is relatively short, measuring about 5mm, and the keys are not weighted. This means the touch does not replicate the resistance of a real acoustic piano, which could be a hurdle for advanced players transitioning from a weighted instrument. While the key width is a comfortable 2cm, the lightweight construction and FPC internal circuitry require careful handling; you must avoid folding it forcefully to prevent damage. Furthermore, the battery life is listed at approximately 4 hours on a full charge, which takes about 2.5 hours to replenish. This is sufficient for a focused practice session but may not last through a full day of intermittent use without access to a power source. It is not designed to power external speakers, limiting its volume expansion capabilities.
When deciding between these two devices, you must align the specs with your daily routine and primary goals. Here is how the concrete data maps to your needs:
• Best for battery longevity → SOAR NBA True: With 10 hours of operation compared to the 4 hours of the MARVTOWN, the earbuds win decisively for all-day use without recharging.
• Best for musical depth and variety → MARVTOWN 88Keys: Offering 128 tones, 108 demo songs, and MIDI connectivity, this keyboard provides a far richer musical experience than stereo audio alone.
• Best for mobility and storage → MARVTOWN 88Keys: The flexible, roll-up design makes it easier to tuck away in a small bag than carrying a charging case and earbuds, though both are portable.
• Best for hands-free communication → SOAR NBA True: The built-in microphone and push-button controls make taking calls seamless, whereas the keyboard has no voice call functionality.
• Best for learning instruments → MARVTOWN 88Keys: The 88 keys and support for various piano apps make it a dedicated learning tool, unlike the earbuds which are purely for consumption.
• Best for team spirit and style → SOAR NBA True: The officially licensed NBA branding allows you to wear your team colors proudly, a feature the black-and-white keyboard lacks.
• Best for external connectivity → MARVTOWN 88Keys: With LINE IN, MIC, PEDAL, and headphone jacks, it connects to microphones, pedals, and computers, offering a level of customization the earbuds cannot match.
• Best for noise isolation (passive) → SOAR NBA True: The in-ear design offers better physical blocking of ambient noise than the open-back nature of a speaker-based keyboard.
In my opinion, the SOAR NBA True is the superior choice for the vast majority of users, especially those in high-stress environments like healthcare. For nurses, having reliable, long-lasting wireless audio that allows for hands-free communication is often more critical than owning a portable keyboard. The 10-hour battery life ensures you can listen to music or podcasts throughout an entire shift without the anxiety of a dying battery, and the secure in-ear fit means you won't lose them while rushing between patients. While the MARVTOWN 88Keys is a fascinating piece of technology for a budding pianist, the limitations of the unweighted keys and shorter battery life make it a niche tool rather than a daily essential. If I were buying for myself today, prioritizing comfort, connectivity, and endurance, I would choose the SOAR NBA True. However, if your primary goal is to learn the piano or compose music while traveling, the MARVTOWN 88Keys remains the only logical option.
Yes, the SOAR NBA True offers 10 hours of battery life, which covers most standard shifts, and the in-ear design helps block some ambient noise without being bulky.
Absolutely, it supports USB MIDI and works with popular piano apps on phones and computers, making it great for interactive learning.
No, they do not have active noise control, relying instead on the passive seal of the in-ear tips to reduce outside sound.
A full charge provides approximately 4 hours of playtime, which takes about 2.5 hours to complete using a standard 5V adapter.
