I am Drithi Pasupuleti, senior at Interlake High School with a profound desire to pursue a career in child psychiatry. My passion lies in advocating for holistic health. As a co-founder of Seattle Neuro Education Initiative, I have contributed to making neuro education accessible to students worldwide. Additionally, as the co-founder & President of the Seattle Fitness Education Initiative, I champion the connection between physical activity and mental wellness. Over the past four years, my involvement has ranged from mentoring students to advocating for voter registration, women’s rights, and mental health. I lead a mental health advocacy group, planning workshops and creating advocacy posts on social media. My commitment to the environment is evident through my contributions to earth restoration and horticulture projects. Beyond academics, I enjoy spending time with friends, playing golf, practicing piano, singing, volunteering, and engaging in robotics. These experiences have enriched my life and earned me four presidential awards in education and social work, as well as awards in piano, robotics, and golf. I am proud to be among <0.1% of students who earned the IB diploma in 11th grade. I support nutrition initiatives that promote healthy eating habits and reduce chronic diseases. I am particularly interested in how nutrition affects brain health. I believe that consuming healthy foods can keep our brains sharp and prevent problems as we age.
