Arka Samatham

I am Arka Samatham, a rising freshman at Tesla STEM High School, aspiring to become a neurosurgeon. Recently I led my team in the National History Day (NHD) Competition, where we scored first at the state level, representing Washington State at the national level. I was also part of the committee at my middle school, where I was responsible for school activities, speaking at assemblies, and managing various leadership events. I am part of the Seattle Neuroscience, Nutrition, and Fitness Initiatives. Some of my previous volunteering includes helping at a non-profit daycare (helping manage children when staff were short for a few days) and at a local non-profit cultural committee (helping organize summer activities and manage an event). Additionally, I am an alumnus of a Hindi teaching organization, having attended for six consecutive years and completed the course.
