Snoots — Find Lost Pets — Terms of Service

By accessing and using the Snoots app ("Snoots: Find lost pets", bundle id com.snoots.du) and associated services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, you must refrain from using the app or the website.

1. The Service

Snoots is a lost-and-found pet app. You can report a missing pet, view nearby missing-pet and sighting reports on a map, receive proximity alerts, register and verify your pet using biometric nose scanning, and communicate with other users to help reunite pets with their owners. Snoots is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and use the app in compliance with all applicable laws.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

• You sign in using Sign in with Apple (iOS) or Google Sign-In.

• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the app.

• You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings > Delete Account), which removes your account and associated data from our servers.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Snoots offers a premium subscription that unlocks features such as biometric nose-scan matching and AI match alerts. Core reporting and community features are available without a subscription.

• The subscription is offered as an annual plan with a 7-day free trial.

• The exact price in your local currency is displayed in the app on the paywall before you subscribe.

• Auto-Renewal: By subscribing, you agree to the auto-renewal terms. Payment is charged to your Apple ID / Google account at the end of the free trial. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.

• Restore Purchases: You can restore an active subscription from the paywall screen.

• Managing & Cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store (iOS: Settings > your name > Subscriptions) or Google Play (Subscriptions) account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

• Refunds: Payments are processed by Apple and Google. Refund requests are handled according to the policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

4. User-Generated Content & Conduct

Snoots includes community posts, sighting reports, and user-to-user chat. You retain ownership of the content you submit but grant us a license to host and display it as needed to operate the service.

You agree not to post or send content that is unlawful, harassing, abusive, hateful, fraudulent, spam, or otherwise objectionable, and not to impersonate others or misuse reports.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. We provide tools to report content and block users. We may review reported content and, at our discretion, remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Pet Biometric Scanning

Snoots verifies pet identity using on-device biometric nose scanning of your pet (not people). Matching is provided to help reunite pets and is offered on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee that any scan, match, or alert will successfully locate or identify a pet.

6. Disclaimer

The app and its materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Snoots makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and disclaims all other warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of reports, matches, locations, alerts, or any other materials provided through the app or website, including content submitted by other users.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Snoots or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, services, or website — including, but not limited to, damages for loss of data, profit, or business interruption, or for any failure to locate or recover a pet — even if Snoots or a representative has been notified of the possibility of such damage.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for consequential or incidental damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

8. Website Terms of Use

By accessing the website at https://snoots.fr/, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials on the website are provided "as is" and may contain technical, typographical, or photographic errors; changes may be made to the website's content at any time without notice.

9. Links to External Websites

The app and website may contain links to external sites that we have not reviewed and are not responsible for. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement. Use of linked websites is at your own risk.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time without notice. By continuing to use the app or website, you agree to be bound by the most current version of these Terms of Service.
