Finite Temperature QFT and Unruh Radiation
This work is my Masters Thesis, which centered around writing a cohesive review of finite temperature methods in quantum field theory and applying them to Unruh radiation (and mentioning black hole and cosmological horizons). The three formalisms I addressed where:
Matsubara (or Imaginary Time)
Schwinger-Keldysh (or Closed-Time-Path)
Thermofield Dynamics
Below you can find the full thesis and a presentation I made summarizing my work. While there was no original work in this thesis, I elaborated on proofs that are often omited in the literature and merged all the information in a way that is not available in any of the sources I found.Â
