SneakerWall ("we," "our," or "us") operates the SneakerWall mobile app (the "App"), a social community for sneaker collectors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using SneakerWall, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, a chosen nickname/username, and profile details you provide (such as a profile photo or bio).
Content you post: Photos, videos, captions, comments, and other content you choose to share on the App, including sneaker posts, votes (Cop or Drop), and replies.
Device permissions: With your permission, the App may access your camera and microphone (to photograph or record sneakers), your photo library (to select or save photos), your contacts (only if you choose to invite friends), and your location (only if you choose to tag a post with where you copped or spotted a pair). You control each of these permissions in your device Settings and can revoke them at any time.
Face ID / Touch ID: If you enable biometric login, authentication happens locally on your device using Apple's Face ID or Touch ID. We never receive or store your biometric data.
Usage information: Basic technical information needed to operate the App, such as crash logs and general usage patterns, may be collected to help us fix bugs and improve the App.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the App's core features (feed, posts, comments, votes, streaks, profiles)
- Let you connect with other collectors and build your community
- Personalize your experience, such as showing your Brand DNA breakdown
- Communicate with you about your account or App updates
- Keep the community safe through moderation tools (reporting and blocking)
- Improve the App and fix technical issues
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
SneakerWall uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage) to securely store account data, app content, and media you upload. Firebase is operated by Google and processes data on our behalf, in line with Google's own privacy and security practices. All data in transit is encrypted using standard HTTPS/TLS.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
CONTENT VISIBILITY
Profiles and posts on SneakerWall are generally visible to other users of the community, consistent with the social nature of the App. Please be mindful of what you choose to share publicly.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual posts at any time within the App. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
SneakerWall is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
SECURITY
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
