Do you need to attend a training for your position?

Does this training also require you to travel?

If so, then this email is for you!

The most important thing to remember when you need training and require travel with that training request is to:

Submit your requests on the AD Website at least two weeks prior to the scheduled training date!

While we understand that some circumstances may not always allow for this, it is a best practice to submit your requests to us as soon as possible.

Please note that we check submissions every morning.

If you need more information about Training Requests, Non-Emergency Travel Requests, Submitting AD Training Hours/Approval Process, please refer to the email that was sent out on 3/28 or the AD Website for more information.

If you need to also Travel for your Training, you must follow the below instructions:

Lastly, attached you will find examples on how to properly fill out your CTR and OF-288. This documentation is very important. You must annotate what hours are travel and what hours are training. The example will show you how to do this.

These examples can also be found on the AD Website on the "AD Forms" Page. Please take the time to read the examples! Not properly filling out these forms will result in delayed payment!

After your training hours are submitted through the AD Website, they must be approved by the FMO.  NOTE:  Each course is allotted a specific amount of time.  If it takes you longer to complete an online course, we are unable to compensate you for those hours.  Refer the AD SOP (General Information>Policy and Publication) for online training hours.
