It is the AD Handcrew Candidate's responsibility to monitor the AD website on a regular basis. The purpose of the Critical Due Dates/Announcement page is to ensure AD Handcrew Candidate's receive all important information. If an AD Handcrew Candidate misses a deadline, they will be disqualified for the fire season.
There will be no exceptions.
Critical Due Dates
1/20/2026: AD Handcrew Applications Close at 4:30 pm. Get your App in before the deadline closes!
1/28/2026:
Attend the 2026 AD Handcrew Rookie School Preseason Meeting.
When: January 28th, 2026 @ 4:30 - Meeting starts promptly at 5:00 (do not be late!)
Where: SNDO District Office
Please bring all completed hiring documents to the Preseason Meeting.
Attendance is mandatory if you plan on participating for the 2026 Fire Season. Please visit the Preseason Meeting Information page for more information!
