PRIVACY POLICY — SNAPSHOT SHOWDOWN
Effective date: 17 July 2026
Developer: KM Games
Contact: kkwikmick@googlemail.com
This privacy policy explains how Snapshot Showdown ("the game", "we") handles your information. The short version: the game is fully offline, has no accounts, and your photos never leave your device. The only third-party data collection comes from the advertising provider that serves optional rewarded ads.
1. YOUR PHOTOS
Snapshot Showdown's core feature is turning photos you choose into game cards.
- When you create a card, you pick a photo using your device's photo picker. A resized copy is stored in the game's private storage on your device only.
- If you grant the optional photo access permission, the game may also display random photos from your gallery on computer-controlled opponent cards during battles. This happens entirely on your device.
- Your photos are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or anyone else. We have no servers and no ability to see your photos.
- You can decline the photo access permission and the game remains fully playable; opponent cards will simply reuse photos from your own created cards.
2. GAME DATA
Your cards, progress, quests, and in-game currencies are saved locally on your device. If Android Backup is enabled on your device, Android may include this data (including your card photos) in your device backup to your own Google account. We have no access to these backups.
Deleting the app deletes all locally stored game data.
3. ADVERTISING
The game shows optional rewarded video ads (you choose to watch them in exchange for in-game currency). Ads are provided by Unity LevelPlay / ironSource Ads (Unity Technologies). Like most mobile ad providers, they may collect and process:
- Device information (model, operating system, language)
- Advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID)
- IP address and approximate (country-level) location
- Ad interaction data (which ads were shown, viewed, or clicked)
This collection is governed by Unity's privacy policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your device's Google settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
4. DATA WE COLLECT OURSELVES
None. The game has no accounts, no analytics of our own, no server, and no way for us to identify you. We never collect your name, email address, contacts, precise location, or any other personal information.
5. CHILDREN
Snapshot Showdown is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone; the only third-party processing is the advertising described above.
6. YOUR CHOICES
- Photo permission: grant or deny at any time in your device's app settings; the game works either way.
- Ads: entirely optional — only shown when you press the "watch ad" button.
- Delete everything: uninstall the app to remove all game data from your device.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If the game gains new features that change how data is handled (for example, online features), this policy will be updated and the effective date above revised.
