Last updated: June 30, 2026
SnapPress ("we", "our", or "us") operates the SnapPress mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
1. Information Collection and Use
SnapPress is an offline-first blood pressure and glucose tracking tool.
Offline Data: All health metrics, logs, and information you input or scan via camera are stored locally on your device. We do NOT collect, transmit, or store your health data on any external servers.
Local Storage: The app uses local databases (Hive) to save your logs locally.
2. Data Retention Policy
We do not store or retain any user data on external servers. All information you input into the app is retained locally on your device indefinitely, or until you choose to delete it.
3. Data Deletion Process
Because your data is exclusively stored locally on your device, we do not have access to it, and there is no need to submit a data deletion request to us. You can delete all your data at any time by taking one of the following actions:
Uninstalling the App: Deleting the SnapPress app from your device will permanently remove all associated local data.
Clearing App Data: You can clear all data by going to your device's settings, selecting SnapPress, and choosing the option to clear app data or storage.
4. Camera Access
Our app requests camera access solely for the purpose of scanning and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) processing of blood pressure monitor screens. The image processing is done locally on your device, and no photos or scanned data are uploaded to the cloud or shared with third parties.
5. Children's Privacy
We only allow users who are 15 years of age or older to use our application. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under this age.
