SnapNote is a mobile application developed by A. Casey, designed with privacy as a core principle.
All photos, videos, and notes created within SnapNote are processed and stored locally on your device only. SnapNote does not upload, sync, or transmit any user content to external servers.
SnapNote does not collect, store, transmit, or share:
Personal information
Photos or videos
Audio recordings
App usage analytics
Device identifiers
Location data
The app operates entirely offline and does not use external servers, analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
SnapNote does not share any data with third parties. No user information or content is accessed, transmitted, or sold to external services.
SnapNote may request access to the following device features solely to enable core app functionality:
Camera – to capture photos and videos within the app
Microphone – to record audio for video and note features
Storage / Media Access – to save, display, and manage content locally on the device
These permissions are optional and are only used when the relevant feature is actively in use.
All data remains on the user’s device. Users can delete their content at any time using in-app or device controls. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
SnapNote does not knowingly collect personal information from children. As no data is collected or transmitted, SnapNote complies with applicable child privacy regulations, including COPPA.
