Our chapter brings together students and professionals from public health, law, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, and social sciences to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and policy advocacy for an equitable healthcare system.
Internship Applications are now open for 2026-2027!
Come join Students for a National Health Program (SNaHP) at UC Davis as a SNaHP Intern! Our chapter is committed to fostering awareness and advocating for healthcare that is fair, accessible, and of high quality. We believe that healthcare is a universal human right and one that must be provided as a public good.
As an intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside student leaders and mentors from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, including public health, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, law, and the social sciences. Through meaningful projects and collaborative initiatives, you'll develop practical skills while contributing to advocacy efforts that promote a more equitable healthcare system.
The SNaHP Internship Program is designed to be low-commitment and high-impact, offering interns the autonomy to take ownership of projects while receiving guidance from experienced mentors. Whether your interests lie in research, public health, communications, finance, outreach, or program development, there are opportunities to build your resume and make a lasting contribution.
Interns will have the opportunity to explore and contribute to approximately 10 different internship tracks, with full position descriptions available on our website. During the application process, applicants will be able to rank their preferred internship placements.
