I just looked at some statistics and my gallery with the most hits -- a test one. I tracked it down and it's because I have a logo in it that I display on the top of each page. They just never put much thought into how to tell actual engagement with users as opposed to counting stuff easy to count. Try google.

The navigation links are designed to help you easily make subsequent requests for pages. The generated links will always be created using the same count= in the original request in order to ensure a repeatable page size across all requests.

These URLs are generated using the same count value as the current request. In the event you have made a request which uses a start value that is not a multiple of your count value, these links will still appear, but you will not be able to iterate all the way to the beginning of the item set using the PrevPage link. If this is the case, Response.Pages.Misaligned will be set to true to let you know about the error. The link will appear until the API no longer has a complete set of items to return using the current count value.

Does Google analytics only track pageviews and not image views they way smugmug currently does? so if someone clicks on a photo it tracks it in Smugmug but would GA track that as a view or only if the user goes to another page?

And, even if, for some reason, the shutter count equals the number of images (5, or 100 in these examples), the real number of activations will still be one. (And that would be a foolish way for Nikon to implement the shutter count!)

So technically.. it is still accurate. It should not count as part of the shutter wear. If you take a series of say.. 10 pictures in electronic mode, the shutter goes up /down only once but the rest is just electronic operations. And I expect the count will go up 1 time only (for the 10 pictures)

Why do you expect it to count towards shutter count... I do not care about how many pictures have been taken .. but I do care about how many times the mechanical shutter has been used (as this means wear..)

BTW, NEF files, like almost all raw formats, are "repurposed" tiff. That means there's a numeric tag (167) which is associated with the count. The label assigned to that tag number isn't always consistent, but is usually something like "Shutter Count". That label is not in the NEF file, but in the program that reads, and then associates it with the label it has imbedded in its code.

I am using smugphp and have completed all of the login stuff above this block of code. I am trying to get the folder structure that I have created in the smugmug website. Unfortunately this only gives me that category and the name of the leaf of the folder tree. There doesn't seem to be any way to get the intermediate folders.

I don't know if this is the best or cleanest solution, but with the code below I am able to trick smugmug into giving me what I want. I force it to do a depth first search and then ignore duplicates. I hope this helps other people, but please let me know if there is a better solution out there.

After downloading, I had 18 .zip files. One file was for my account information and included albums data. The account information is many different files and all of them are in JSON format. The other 17 files were all photos and videos.

I use Dropbox, a paid account, to store and deliver photos, audio and video files to clients and friends. As a delivery tool, it is very effective, but not so much as a viewer. I can only use Dropbox as a link in PNET, not to display images. Folders are password protected.

Uploads to Dropbox are automatically synchronized (downloaded) to customers with paid or free accounts. Free accounts are relatively small (500 MB), and fill up quickly. The customer (or I) must unsync in order to delete their local files.

I've used clickpic(?) but replaced that with Zenfolio and I've been with them for the last 3 years. I think they are better value for money. Spending some money on a domain name and on the zenfolio account will enable you to have your own domain name and not xxxxx.zenfolio.com. You can present your images in galleries and protect them with a watermark. You can also blog from that site too.

I don't think you could go wrong with either Smugmug or Zenfolio. I started with Smugmug a long time ago, then switched to Zenfolio just to try it out -- I still have the account to this day. I use my site for display and commerce. I organize photos in folders, some open to the public, some only via a hidden URL or a password. I disabled downloads, and enabled pricing only for some images, not all. I use my own URL and use a watermark for all images.

The only think I don't like about Zenfolio is the fact that they charge extra for RAW file storage, but also have an Amazon cloud account with unlimited storage of image files (including RAW), so the Zenfolio charge for RAW storage is not really an issue, just a minor nit.

The design of this library (smugmug) is to separate the interactions with the SmugMug API as much as possiblefrom the handling of the results. smugmug provides both low-level connectivity as well as higher-levelabstractions for building applications. smugmug ships with no executable but a feature-rich application,ma, has been developed leveraging most of the library's APIs.

A note on expansions. SmugMug's API provides an optimization to return some attributes ofa request in a single call versus multiple. smugmug needs to explicitly support expansions and at this timenot all are handled (though the primary use cases have been implemented). The expansions returning paged resultswill not be supported because it complicates the design and the number of results is limited so paging is almostalways required anyway.

In this digital age, where we capture countless moments through our smartphones and cameras, it's easy to lose track of how many photos and videos we have stored. Google Photos provides a convenient solution to this problem, allowing users to access their media from anywhere with an internet connection. Let's explore how you can uncover the number of photos and videos you've uploaded to Google Photos.

Photos & videos are precious memories and all of us never want to ever lose them to hard disk crashes or missing drives. PicBackMan is the easiest and simplest way to keep your photos/videos safely backed up in one or more online accounts.

Simply Download PicBackMan (it's free!), register your account, connect to your online store and tell PicBackMan where your photos/videos are - PicBackMan does the rest, automatically. It bulk uploads all photos and keeps looking for new ones and uploads those too. You don't have to ever touch it.

Yes, Google Photos provides an option to back up all photos and videos from your device. You can enable automatic backup, which ensures that every new photo and video captured on your device gets uploaded to your Google Photos account.

No, Google Photos does not automatically delete old photos. Your photos will remain in your Google Photos account unless you manually delete them. However, if you choose to store your media in the original quality and your storage limit is reached, Google Photos may prompt you to manage your storage by deleting some photos or videos.

No, deleting videos from Google Photos does not delete them from your device. When you delete a video from Google Photos, it only removes the copy stored in your Google Photos account. The original video file on your device or any other synced devices remains unaffected.

Daily Limit: An individual player may not participate in more than 6.5 quarters of play during any consecutive 3-day period. This limitation applies to participation in games at all levels of play: Junior High, B-Squad, Junior Varsity and Varsity. Quarters of play are as defined under Season Limitations. Any participation in a quarter counts as one quarter of a game with the exception of special teams. Participation on special teams only, counts as one-half of one quarter.

Season Limitation:No more quarters than six (6) times the number of varsity games scheduled. Player participation limitations include participation in Jr. High, B-Squad, JV and Varsity games. Participation in any quarter counts as one (1) quarter of a game. Participation on Special Teams only would count as one-half (1/2) quarter of play. Special Teams would be defined and limited to: Kickoff, Kickoff Return, Punt, Punt Return, Field Goal and Extra Point Kicking Teams only.

In order to count cranes I was up at 3:30 in the morning to get ready, pick up my dad, and make it to our spot by 5:30 when the official counting began. We set up chairs and tuned our ears to the sounds of the marsh coming alive.

We were up to seven total cranes, two of which were pairs, by the time we were ready to depart. But before the two hour count period was up, we heard bugling nearby and a beautiful pair of cranes floated in out of nowhere and landed in the adjacent corn field.

There is no free storage available anywhere for more than a handful of photos and videos. And no, Facebook and Instagram don\u2019t count, as images are ground down to super low-resolution and you\u2019ll never get the full res version back.

Anna and I just wanted to share that we had a great time this past Thursday leading the Atlanta SmugMug lighting seminar/workshop. It was a really great hands-on experience for the 60+ photographers (by my count) that came. We had so many photographers come up and tell us how much they appreciated being able to have some hands-on time with different lighting setups. 17dc91bb1f
