Hello SMS Families!
The RaiseRight (formerly known as SCRIP) program is a great program which allows us to purchase both ecards and physical gift cards to over 700 vendors including restaurants, grocery stores, department stores, movie theaters and even a local vendor (thank you McQuade’s & Paddy's). A percentage of each gift card purchased goes directly to SMS PTO.
There is the potential for significant fundraising with this program if families are willing to change their spending habits and purchase gift cards through RaiseRight for some of your everyday purchases (made in stores or online) or gifts. Last year we raised over $2500!
There are three kinds of gift cards available for all your shopping and gifting needs.
All cards can be ordered online - email kcurrie72@gmail.com for the school registration code. To avoid shipping costs, you can have physical gift cards sent to school but those will only be ordered on the dates listed below with the group orders.
Alternative for plastic cards: Fill out a paper order form (once school starts, we will send forms home monthly and will collect and place orders TWICE a month for your convenience). You can also find on the website bit.ly/smsscrip Be sure to include your email or phone number.
I will email you when your physical gift card order is in (typically 5-7 days) to pick up in main office (unless you specify you want them sent home with your child - see liability waiver).
