Introduction & Motivation

Riyadh recently graduated with a Ph.D. in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Louisville, KY, USA, where he worked in the UofL Laser Labs.

With a strong motivation to deepen our understanding of fundamental sciences, he has applied advanced spectroscopic and characterization techniques in his research. His doctoral work focused on Doppler-free Saturation Absorption Spectroscopy, Cavity Ring-Down (CRD) Spectroscopy, Laser-Induced Fluorescence (LIF), and dispersed Fluorescence (DF). He developed new experimental setups for Doppler-free and CRD spectroscopy targeting molecules such as Methane.

Beyond his primary research, Riyadh is also passionate about renewable energy, particularly in the synthesis and property tuning of 2D nanomaterials and computational physics.
