"It is only right that respect and friendship for members of other religious traditions should be among the virtues learned in a Catholic school."
~ Pope Benedict XVI ~
Our Admissions Policy clearly states that our school is a Catholic School and it makes clear that we welcome diversity and strive to be inclusive.
The Catholic ethos of our school is not confined to religious education lessons, but permeates the whole school day.
The class teacher and children will show interest when a child is celebrating a special feast in his/her tradition while attending school.
Children are helped to recognise that everyone, regardless of their ethnic origin, colour or faith, is created in God’s image and is precious in God’s eyes.
Our school is committed to being inclusive and welcomes children, and their families, of other Christian denominations, other faiths, and none. We respect individual beliefs and embrace diversity. As is explicitly recognised by the Church, the religious freedom of children and their families will be respected.
