School Lunches

Fresh Today supply our school lunches. They are a Co. Longford based company employing local people and source their produce locally.

Their allergen menu is built with dietary restrictions and cultural respects in mind. Fresh Today can be contacted at 043-3347568. You will find members of their team to be extremely courteous, professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Snacks

Snacks for breaktime are ordered by the class teacher. They will include a selection of fruit, cheese, pancakes, flapjacks and the occasional treat!

Lunches

Lunches can be ordered or amended by parents and children on-line at www.freshtoday.ie. Parents can get their log-in details from Brigid, our secretary. The online selection method is accessible, convenient and easy to use. Thursday is the deadline for orders for the following school week.

There is a wide variety of options for children to choose from which caters for every taste, for example,

• Baked Ham, Potato and Vegetables

• Shepherd's Pie

• Chicken Carbonara

• Roast Chicken, Potato and Vegetables

• Meatballs in Tomato Sauce

• Chicken and Broccoli Bake

• Roast Turkey, Potato and Vegetables

• Chicken Curry & Rice

Vegetarian options include:

• Sweet Potato Curry

• Vegetable Cacciatore

• Tomato Bolognese

• Bean Chilli Potatoes

Please provide lunch for your child until you are set up on the Fresh Today system. You may supplement your child’s lunch during the year. This should be in line with our school’s Healthy Eating Policy.

Water

In addition, Fresh Today supply water dispensers for each classroom and at other points throughout the school.
