Please remember the importance of your child attending school everyday. Prolonged absences and indeed sporadic absences are very disruptive to your child’s learning. The school must, by law, report absences of 20 days or more to the National Educational Welfare Board. School attendance is taken at 9:50a.m. each day. Children who are not in class at this time will be recorded as absent. If your child will be in school after this time, due to an appointment for example, please notify your child’s teacher the previous day. Please provide a note explaining your child’s absence as our on-line roll system requires an explanation to be entered and explanations will be checked by the Educational Welfare Officer.
