Recording

Digital recording facilities in Braintree, Vermont are available for use by professional and non-professional musicians. All studio use is personally supervised by Christopher Smith. Production and mastering, digital audio disc duplication, and web-based music publishing services are available as well.

Mobile recording is made possible through one or more portable digital devices; all mobile recordings are produced and mastered in Braintree, Vermont. While availability is limited, travel throughout New England is possible.

Private Instruction

Christopher Smith is accepting voice students. Instruction will be provided on a weekly basis at his home in Braintree, Vermont. With over twenty years of experience as a vocalist, both in formal and informal settings, Chris is willing to help vocalists of any skill level find new ways to have fun singing. At this time, vocal lessons are being offered at $20 per half hour.

Editing

One-on-one, in-person editing sessions of original academic work are offered on a limited basis. High school students are especially encouraged to seek assistance with editing college application essays. Editing sessions may be completed in Conant Hall, Vermont Tech, Randolph Center, or may be conducted online (Google Hangouts is preferred, though Skype and other platforms are available). Tutoring

Regular, recurring tutoring sessions are available for high school and undergraduate students in the central Vermont area, and may be offered in a number of subjects. With over a dozen years of experience teaching language and literacy at the higher education level, regular tutoring sessions may benefit speakers and writers of all skill levels. Note: Dr. Smith reserves the right to refuse editing or tutoring services to any students whose current enrollment may pose an ethical and/or professional dilemma. Due to Dr. Smith's current teaching obligations, students currently enrolled in courses at any school within the Vermont State Colleges System are not welcome to take advantage of tutoring or editing services as described above.
