In 1982 computer science professor Scott E Fahlman suggested using smiley pictograms to mark humorous :) and serious statements :( in e-mails. That way, emotions could be clear and misunderstandings in e-mail correspondence avoided as far as possible. It's the exit animation on the states of each smiley causing that effect. Each state has a 0.25sec fade in and fade out. Storyline is ensuring each state completes it's transition out, even though it is moving on to the next state. I just removed the fade outs from each state and it stopped the 'after image'.
The last two emojis in the slide deck depict happiness and excitement. Both these emojis come in greenish color tones. There are also sample clipart and layouts along with each emoji rating slide. You can also make use of the given layouts for redesigning the slides according to your specific topic. Like other Presenter Media templates, this template too is easy enough to edit, as it comes with editable slide elements.
In case anyone is curious - I opened up one of my reports in the service, blew up the resolution on the browser to 300%, and then clipped each image separately using Greenshot (a screen clip program)
