Journal-style Bio

Song Min Kim is currently an associate professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at KAIST, Korea. Prior to joining KAIST in 2019, he was with the Department of Computer Science at George Mason University, USA. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and M.E. and B.E. degrees from Korea University. His research interests include wireless and low-power embedded networks, and Internet of Things, where he is leading cross-technology communication research. He has received the best paper award in ICDCS 2018 and served as a TPC member in prestigious networking conferences including MobiCom, CoNEXT, and INFOCOM.
