Our Story

Social Media Breakfast Savannah (#SMBSAV) is a grass-roots monthly meet up of digital professionals in the greater Savannah area to discuss how to use social media to connect customers and clients with you, your brand, business, product or service. The target audience for this group is social media experts and newbies, marketers, PR Pro's, Entrepreneurs, Bloggers, Podcasters, Content Creators, small business owners.

Results reported by community members:

• Connected with other professionals on a social channel

• Learned something useful to implement in my business

• Collaborated with a person/business

• Nailed a new contract

• Increased business/sales

• Found employment or a freelance job via a smbsav connection

SMB is part of a larger movement of similar social media breakfasts, which can now be found in 40 cities around the world. Cities include Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Minneapolis, Singapore, Toronto and more. The goal is to have the group grow into a truly collaborative community.

Our inaugural meeting was September 21st, 2018 and we have been meeting ever since.

We usually meet the 3rd Friday of every month in person from 8:00am - 9:30 am, at Foxy Loxy Cafe. However, for the beginning of 2021 (until the weather gets warmer), we'll be meeting online.

While the event is free to attend, please support the coffee shop by ordering coffee etc. & breakfast.
