Symposium for Maritime
Amateur Radio Technology
WestCumb ARC is pleased to host the annual Symposium for Maritime Amateur Radio Technology (SMART)
MISSION: "To provide insight into the technical and procedural aspects of amateur radio operation"
The annual SMART symposium is scheduled for May 10th, 2025 at the Dr. Carson & Marion Murray Community Centre in Springhill NS.
There will be 10 classes beginning at 9am. Lunch will be served from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. Door prizes will be awarded to those who register before the event. Grand Prizes and 50/50 tickets will be sold throughout the day and all the prizes will take place after the last classes are out at 4pm.
Entrance fee is 20 dollars which includes the classes and lunch.
Entrance fee just for the flea market is also 20 dollars.
Flea Market tables are 40 dollars (paid in advance) which include entrance fee, table and a 10 dollar insurance fee which will be returned when you arrive.
Display tables where money is not changing hands will be 30 dollars (paid in advance) which includes your entrance fee and 10 dollar insurance fee to be returned when you arrive.
