SmartToDo respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the SmartToDo mobile application and how that information is used.
1. Information We Collect
SmartToDo allows users to create and manage tasks and reminders on their device. Task content such as task titles, reminder times, categories, priority, repeat settings, and completion status is primarily stored locally on the user’s device.
SmartToDo does not currently provide user account registration or personal cloud backup.
The app may use third-party services that collect certain information automatically, including:
- Device identifiers
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- App interactions
- Crash logs
- Diagnostics
- Purchase-related status needed to verify premium access through Google Play Billing
2. How Information Is Used
Information may be used for the following purposes:
- To provide task and reminder functionality
- To schedule and display reminders and notifications
- To enable premium feature unlocking through Google Play Billing
- To display advertisements in the free version of the app
- To measure ad performance and app performance
- To detect crashes, diagnose issues, and improve app stability
- To help prevent fraud and abuse
3. Advertising
SmartToDo uses Google AdMob to display ads in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect and process data such as device identifiers, approximate location, app interactions, and diagnostic information to serve, personalize, and measure ads.
Users may manage ad personalization through their Google account or device settings.

4. In-App Purchases
SmartToDo offers a one-time premium upgrade through Google Play Billing. Google may process purchase-related information to complete transactions, restore purchases, verify premium access, and prevent fraud.
SmartToDo does not store payment card details.
5. Data Storage
User-created task and reminder data is primarily stored locally on the device. If the app is deleted, locally stored task data may also be deleted unless the device or Android backup settings preserve it.
SmartToDo does not currently operate an external server database for user accounts, task syncing, or cloud backups.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
Certain information may be processed or shared with third-party service providers as part of app functionality, advertising, diagnostics, and purchase verification. These providers may include:
- Google AdMob
- Google Play Billing
- Google Play services
These third-party services process data according to their own privacy policies and terms.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information handled by the app. Some information processed by third-party SDKs is encrypted in transit according to the provider’s practices.
8. Children
SmartToDo is not specifically directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
