Smart Tab Manager (“we”, “our”, or “the extension”) respects your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our Chrome extension.

Smart Tab Manager requires limited Chrome permissions to provide its core functionality.
What it does:
Reads tab information (title, URL, favicon)
Allows switching between tabs
Enables opening and closing tabs
Why it’s required:
Display open tabs in the extension popup
Search tabs by title
Switch to selected tabs
Open all tabs from a saved group
Close tabs from a group
Data handling:
Tab data is accessed in real time only
Displayed locally in the extension UI

What it does:
Saves extension-related data locally using Chrome’s storage API
Why it’s required:
Save custom tab groups
Save browser sessions
Preserve settings across browser restarts
Data handling:
Data is stored only on your device
Uses chrome.storage.local

❌ Personal information (name, email, phone number)
❌ Browsing history
❌ Website content
❌ Passwords or credentials
❌ Financial information
❌ Location data
❌ Device identifiers
❌ Analytics or tracking data

✅ Saved session names and URLs
✅ Custom group configurations
All extension data is stored locally on your device using Chrome’s built-in storage system.
Data never leaves your device
Data is not transmitted over the internet
We cannot access your data
Third parties cannot access your data
Removing the extension deletes all stored data
Smart Tab Manager does NOT use any third-party services, including:
❌ Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, etc.)
❌ Advertising networks
❌ Crash reporting tools
❌ External APIs
❌ Cloud storage services
We do NOT share data with third parties because we do not collect any data.
Smart Tab Manager does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.
This Privacy Policy may be updated occasionally.
Any changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
Since no personal data is collected, there is no personal data to access or delete.
However, you may:
Remove the extension to delete all local data
Clear extension storage via Chrome settings
