SmartShopper+ respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the SmartShopper+ mobile application.
SmartShopper+ is designed to store most information directly on your device.
The app may store the following information locally on your device:
Shopping list items
Pantry inventory items
Expiry dates for pantry items
Recipe ingredients scanned or entered by the user
Store names and specials added by the user
This information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to external servers.
SmartShopper+ does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information such as:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Location data
All shopping lists, pantry items, and related information are stored locally on your device using secure device storage.
If you delete the application, this information will also be deleted from your device.
The barcode scanning feature is used only to assist with adding products to your shopping list. Barcode data is processed within the application and is not stored or transmitted externally.
SmartShopper+ does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising services.
If this changes in future versions of the app, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
SmartShopper+ may offer optional premium features through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Payments are processed securely by Apple and SmartShopper+ does not collect or store payment information.
SmartShopper+ is not directed toward children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
