SmartRewriteAI Account Deletion

Welcome to the account deletion page for SmartRewriteAI, developed by Aatman Jain. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please follow the steps below. 

How to Request Account Deletion

You can delete your SmartRewriteAI account in two ways:

1. Email Request:

   • Send an email to us at smartrewriteai@gmail.com

   • Include your Google Sign-In email associated with your Google account.

   • Subject: "SmartRewriteAI Account Deletion Request".

   • We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

Data Types Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• User ID: The encrypted ID associated with your Google Sign-In account.

• Purchase History: Subscription status though Google Play may retain payment records per their policy.

Data Retained

We may retain the following data in anonymized form for analytics purposes:

• Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated usage data (e.g., number of rewrites) that cannot be linked to your account.

• Crash Logs and Diagnostics: Technical data sent to Firebase, stored anonymously.

No personally identifiable data is retained after account deletion.

Data Retention Period

Upon receiving your deletion request:

• Data is deleted within 30 days for email requests or immediately for in-app requests.

• During this period, data may be retained temporarily to process the request or comply with legal obligations.

• Google Play Billing data (e.g., payment records) is managed by Google per their Privacy Policy.
