3. File Access and Processing

The app allows users to select files using Android’s Storage Access Framework (SAF).

Selected files are accessed only as needed to perform the requested operation, such as:

- Image to PDF conversion

- PDF to image conversion

- PDF merge

- PDF split

- PDF compression

- PDF protection or password removal

All file processing is performed locally on the device.

Your selected files are not uploaded to our servers, not remotely stored by us, and not shared by us with third parties.

Passwords used for PDF protection are not stored or transmitted by us.

4. Permissions

Smart PDF Toolkit may use the following permissions:

- INTERNET: used for ad-related services and Google service connectivity

- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: used to detect network availability for ad-related features

- POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+): used for optional reminders and notifications

The app does not request:

- Broad storage permissions

- Camera access

- Microphone access

- Location access

5. Advertising

Smart PDF Toolkit may use Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob and related advertising partners may process limited data such as:

- App information

7. Notifications

Files chosen for processing remain under your control on your device unless you save or export them yourself.

Smart PDF Toolkit is not directed to children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
