SmartLearners (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
SmartLearners now offers optional account features. When you choose to sign in using your Google account, we may collect the following information:

Create and manage your account
Display your profile on the dashboard
Personalize your experience

Learning progress
App activity (such as scores and usage within the app)
You can still use the app without signing in, but some features (like dashboard and progress tracking) will not be available.
SmartLearners uses AI to generate:
Quizzes
Topic explanations
Summaries
Learning content
When you enter a topic or text:
It is sent to the OpenAI API to generate a response
We do not permanently store your input or generated output
We use the following third-party services:
Google Sign-In
Used for authentication. We only access basic profile information (name, email, profile photo).
Supabase
Used to securely store user profiles and app-related data such as progress and quiz results.
OpenAI API
Used to generate learning content based on your input.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties.
We take appropriate security measures to protect your data:
All data is transmitted over secure (HTTPS) connections
User data is stored securely in our database
Access to data is restricted and protected
SmartLearners is a general audience app and is not specifically directed at children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.
You have full control over your data:
You can use the app without signing in
You can stop using the app at any time
You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us
