Smarter Support® braces are “hypercorrective”, following the Cheneau-Gensingen principles, which include physiotherapy. Compared to traditional methods, that can only prevent the worsening of scoliosis, hypercorrective braces can durably straighten a child’s spine, avoiding the need for surgery later in life.
We use data from X-rays and 3D scans, as the base to realize the brace, with specialized CAD/CAM technology. This way, we can provide the best solution, perfectly tailored for your child’s need. The resulting brace is not only more comfortable and lighter, but also more effective than traditional models.
We know that the bracing experience can be disorienting for a family, as it requires daily care and regular visits to specialists to ensure good function of the treatment. In fact, the quasi-totality of failures when using braces stems from the lack of follow-up of the patients.
Our sensors, directly embedded into the brace, allow real-time monitoring of the treatment’s progress and can detect if the brace is not worn correctly.
