Please read the following information in order to use this two-way radio safely and efficiently.

The maintenance work of two-way radio can only be carried out by professional technical personnel; assembly and disassembly without permission is prohibited.
To avoid problems caused by electromagnetic interference or electromagnetic compatibility, please turn off the two-way radio in places with the sign “Please turn off two-way radio”, such as hospitals and other health care facilities.
When taking an airplane, please turn off two-way radio when the crew requests.
In automobiles with airbags, do not place the two-way radio in the inflation area of the airbags.
Turn off two-way radio before entering the flammable and explosive environments.
Do not replace or charge the battery in flammable and explosive environments.
Turn off the two-way radio before approaching the blasting area and detonator area.
Do not use the two-way radio if the antenna is damaged, or else it may cause minor skin burns.
Do not expose the two- way radio to direct sunlight or near the heating device.
While the portable two-way radio is transmitting, keep the radio in a vertical position and keep the microphone about 5cm from the mouth.
Keep the two-way radio at leat 2.5cm from the head or body during transmitting.
If you are wearing the portable two-way radio on your body, make sure that the antenna is at least 2.5cm away from the body when the two-way radio is transmitting.
If the two-way radio has any odor or smoke, turn off the power immediately and contact your dealer.

Function operation.

Squelch level.

The purpose of Squelch is to mute the speaker when no signals are present (Squelch OFF). With the squelch level correctly set, you will hear sound only while actually receiving signals (Squelch ON). The squelch level can be adjusted via program software.

The frequency of squelch is 0 (on) -9 (deep), steps: 1.

Battery saving.

ON: Entering into the battery saving state automatically without any operation for 10 seconds.
OFF: Battery saving is off.

Busy Channel Lockout (BCL).

Switch on or off each effective channel busy lockout function via PC programing software. In this setting, signals from the current channel are banned to transmit.

Voice broadcast.

Turn on or off through PC software Settings.

ON: when the voice switch is on, the function channel number are voice broadcast for each channel.

OFF: when the voice is off, there will be no voice broadcast on each channel.

Low Battery Voltage Warning.

When the voltage is lower than the present value, a prompt “Please change battery” is issued every 10 seconds, press the PTT button is invalid and makes “Di” sounds.

Chinese and English choice.

Set Chinese or English language through PC software.

VOX

VOX function is effective when the function is turned on.
VOX gain level: When the sound level is higher than the set level of VOX, VOX automatically transmits. The VOX gain level can adjust from 1 to 5 levels.
When a signal is received, VOX will not transmit even if the sound level is higher than the set VOX gain level.

QT/DQT

The radio’s QT/DQT for each channel can be programmed by software. When the channel sets the QT/DQT, the radio squelch opens only if it receives a signal that uses the same QT or DQT. The radio squelch does not turn on if the same channel uses different QT/DQT calls, only lights in green, sub-CTCSS 50 groups, and digital sub-audio DCS 105 groups.
