Amobear Application - AILABS ("we," "us," or "our") built the SmartBlocker: Block Spam Call app as an Ad Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Amobear Application - AILABS at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.
1. Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained on your device and is also collected/uploaded as described below:
Contact List Information: To provide advanced Caller ID and matching functionality, SmartBlocker will fetch and upload your contacts (names and phone numbers) from your phone book.
Data Destination: This contact data is uploaded and synced to our secure server at https://api.v2.truecallapp.com.
Purpose: We use this to show users the best results for identified callers and to enhance our spam-matching database. We do not sell, trade, or transfer your contact list to third parties.
SMS Data: Our app collects and processes all SMS messages (including personal and financial SMS) to provide comprehensive spam and fraud filtering. This collection is necessary to protect users from malicious phishing and unsolicited marketing.
2. Permissions Required
To function fully, the app requires the following permissions:
READ_CONTACTS / WRITE_CONTACTS: To sync and manage your contact list for Caller ID.
READ_CALL_LOG / WRITE_CALL_LOG: To display call history and identify unknown callers.
READ_SMS / RECEIVE_SMS / SEND_SMS: To filter spam messages and manage your inbox.
READ_PHONE_STATE: To detect incoming calls and manage phone call states (ringing, connected).
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: To display the Caller ID overlay on your screen during calls.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To send notifications for missed calls or blocked spam.
3. Device Identifiers
We fetch your device ID to save spam reports and suggested names to make the record unique and accurate. This ensures that spam reports are verified and consistent across the service.
4. Third-Party Services

5. Data Security
We value your trust in providing us with your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Information is stored on secured servers and protected by secured networks. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable.
6. Alteration or Deletion of Your Data
Users who wish to delete or hide their "Caller ID" data from our database should email us at the support address below. In the email, please provide your mobile number in international format and your email ID.
7. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
