This is so simple question that I am quite embarrassed to ask. I would like to add photo to org chart in PowerPoint. I am using SmartArtLayout(98), this is the kind of orgchart with a slot for image. I have tried reach this slot following IntelliSense suggestion but it led me nowhere. I have been trying to google for any object model for this specific shape but I am unable to find anything. Could you help? I guess it must be something after:

Hi all, glad this subreddit exists. :) This is in PPT 2013 I have portrait photos and I'm trying to use the smart art "Accented Picture." Every which way I try, it turns the photo on its side When I simply want it to face upright as the photo was taken. So far I've:

For example, you can use SmartArt to make a grid of 6 photos with captions lined up in 2 rows of 3. Imported into Storyline, though, it's one big image. If I want to change anything in any way (say, the size of the font), I have to either 1) change it in the original PowerPoint, or 2) copy and paste each element separately, or 3) build it from scratch. It would be nice to be able to edit it in Storyline.

I would suggest using a tool called Gimp. Gimp is the open source version of photo shop and can accomplish exactly what you want. I think this would be the easiest and most efficient tool. You definitely need to be introduced to Gimp, it will help you in many ways.

From what I can understand, the issue you are having is that as you addĀ

additional objects (referred to as "nodes") to the diagram, the left andĀ

right "margins" of the smartart get small. That is, you wind up havingĀ

something like this:Edge of smartart -> | (lots of space) | (edge of first group)

and the same thing on the right side, correct? The reason for this is because there are a lot of nodes vertically, so inĀ

order to maintain the look of the diagram, the diagram grows vertically asĀ

nodes are added. Unfortunately, because the size of the actual diagram isn'tĀ

changing, in order to maintain that look, the diagram gets "smaller" andĀ

thus there is white space that grows on the sides of the diagram. To fix this, resize the entire diagram (that's the frame around the entireĀ

diagram, not the objects inside the diagram) vertically. That is, stretch itĀ

either up or down. This should cause the nodes to resize to a larger size,Ā

and thus will eliminate the whitespace on the left and right margins. Please do let me know if this doesn't remedy the issue, or if it is aĀ

different issue you are seeing and I'm just not understanding.- Jason

Not so long ago I was helping a client update her PowerPoint presentation. We had used one of the SmartArt Graphics that can contain pictures, but wanted to reposition the photo ... more head, less body. The right-clickers amongst you might intuitively try Size and Position, but that applies to the placeholder, not the picture itself. But don't despair - you can get access to the photo.

the smart art was originally created in illustrator from a photo and vectors. It was then brought into photoshop. It looks great in photoshop-however I neee to modify the vector art in illustrator. When I click the link and bring it in the photo becomes inverted. I think it is a color conversion issue-but I am not sure how to fix it..

Drag-and-drop image placeholders make it easy to illustrate with your favorite photos. Plus, free fonts and editable graphics make this template a top choice if you need to adapt each slide to your own needs.

I tried with your steps( 1. using smartart and save as picture) and outcome was same like image uploaded with black background so i did PrintScr and paste in paint and just crop the area of image and save it as png and this time success with white background. 006ab0faaa
