Smart Translate Pro (“the App”) enables users to translate text and speech quickly with AI-powered assistance. We value your privacy and this policy explains what information we handle, how it is used, and the choices you have.
User Input – Text or speech you provide for translation. Input is processed securely and not stored by us after translation.
Device Data – Basic diagnostics and crash logs provided by Apple (e.g., OS version, device type) to improve reliability.
Purchases – If you subscribe, Apple manages payment. We only receive non-identifiable details such as subscription type and region.
Support Communications – Emails or messages you send us for help.
To provide translations and related features.
To troubleshoot, improve app performance, and maintain reliability.
To manage subscriptions and provide customer support.
We do not sell your data or use it for targeted advertising.
We use trusted services to operate the App:
Apple – for payments, crash reports, and distribution.
OpenAI API – for processing translation requests securely via encrypted connections. OpenAI may temporarily retain logs for security and abuse monitoring (see their privacy terms).
Translation inputs are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers.
History (if enabled) is stored locally on your device and can be cleared anytime.
Subscription records are retained as legally required.
Support emails are kept as long as needed to address your requests.
We implement safeguards such as TLS encryption for network communications. While no system is 100% secure, we strive to protect your information against unauthorized access.
You can clear translation history in the App.
You may stop using the App at any time.
You may contact us to request deletion of support communications we store.
Subscriptions can be managed or canceled in your Apple ID account settings.
Smart Translate Pro is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Processing may occur on servers outside your country. By using the App, you consent to such transfers, subject to safeguards required by applicable law.
Data Not Collected for Marketing – We do not collect data for advertising or third-party marketing.
App Tracking Transparency – We do not track users across apps or websites, and we do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA).
In-App Purchases – Managed by Apple. We do not access your credit card or billing details.
Depending on your location (e.g., California, EU, UK), you may have rights to:
