3. Biometric Authentication

Smart Expense Tracker offers an optional App Lock feature using biometric authentication (such as fingerprint or face recognition).

• The app only receives a success or failure result.
  
  

• No biometric data is stored or transmitted.
  
  

This feature is optional and can be enabled or disabled in Settings.

4. Backup and Import / Export

The app allows users to:

• Save backups to device storage
  
  

• Share backup files
  
  

• Import CSV files manually
  
  

Important:

• Backup files are stored only where the user chooses.
  
  

• We do not access or transmit your backup files.
  
  

• If you uninstall the app, local data may be permanently deleted unless backed up.
  
  

5. Advertisements

Smart Expense Tracker uses Google AdMob to display ads, including:

• Rewarded Video Ads
  
  

• Native Ads
  
  

Google AdMob may collect:

• Advertising ID

6. Rewarded Ads

Some features (such as add transaction, Export or Backup actions) may require watching a rewarded advertisement.
