It’s time to shine, Smalltown! ✨ Join us for an exciting afternoon filled with beauty, talent, and hometown spirit at the 2025 Smalltown Christmas Pageant & Talent Show!

👑 Beauty Pageant Categories:

• Baby Miss (0–23 months)

• Tiny Miss (2–3 years)

• Mini Miss (4–6 years)

• Little Miss (7–9 years)

• Young Miss (10–12 years)

• Jr. Miss (13–15 years)

• Miss (16–19 years)

🎤 Talent Show Categories:

• Ages 7–12

• Ages 13 & up

You do not have to participate in the beauty pageant to enter the talent show — everyone is welcome to share their talents! 🌟 Sing, dance, play an instrument, or showcase any special skill that makes you stand out!

💵 Entry Fees:

• Beauty: $30

• Photogenic: $10

• Talent: $20

• 👉 Do all three and save $10 — only $50 for the full experience!

Prizes given for all categories!

By participating in the Small Town Christmas Beauty Pageant and Talent Show, contestants and their guardians agree to the following terms:

Liability Release: Jackson County Odyssey of the Mind, ASU-Newport, and all event sponsors, coordinators, and volunteers are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property or injury that may occur before, during, or after the event.

Photography & Media: Participation grants permission for the use of photographs or videos for promotional or publicity purposes.

Refund Policy: All entry fees are non-refundable.

Conduct: Any behavior deemed inappropriate or unsportsmanlike by event staff may result in disqualification and/or removal from the premises.

Rehearsal: We will have rehearsal on Friday, December 12 starting at 5:00. 

👑 Beauty Pageant Rules

Judging Criteria:

Poise, confidence, stage presence, personality, and overall appearance.

Check-In & Line-Up:

Contestants must arrive 30 minutes before their division’s start time.

Props & Accessories:

Simple props (like holiday accessories) are allowed if they can be carried on and off stage easily.

Photogenic Category: Photos must be turned in at rehearsal and clearly labeled with the participants name and age on the back.

Awards:

Crowns, sashes, and prizes will be awarded per division.

Judges’ decisions are final and based on individual scoring.

🎤 Talent Show Rules

Categories: 

Ages 7–12

Ages 13 & up

Contestants may participate in talent only — pageant entry is not required.

Performance Length:

Maximum of 4 minutes per act.

Talent Types:

Singing, dancing, instrumentals, comedy, dramatic reading, or other family-appropriate talents.

Music & Props:

Music must be family-friendly (no explicit language).

Participants must provide their own music (USB, phone, or CD) labeled clearly.

Props must be approved by staff prior to the show.

Judging Criteria:

Stage presence, originality, difficulty, entertainment value, and overall performance.

Conduct & Safety:

No dangerous stunts, fire, weapons, or animals allowed on stage.

Contestants must behave respectfully toward others and follow all stage directions.
