The courses also include information on clinical gastroenterology, with emphasis on diagnosis and management of a variety of disorders, focusing on how endoscopy fits into the practice of clinical gastroenterology. There are myriad uses for both flexible and rigid endoscopy in any practice setting! This is a great opportunity to pick up a new skill, or to polish your skills if you already know a little about the basics.

Dr Todd Tams,
DVM, DACVIM | Internal Medicine
Dr. Tams received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree of The Ohio State University in 1977. He completed his internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and a residency program in internal medicine at Colorado State University. After working at Tufts University/Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston from 1981-84, Dr Tams returned to the VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and served as Medical Director until 1996. A majority of his time is now spent in his position as the Chief Medical Officer for VCA.
Dr Simon Quek
Dr Simon Quek graduated from Murdoch University in 2000. He has a keen interest in veterinary dermatology, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. Dr Quek was the first in Singapore to start Intra-Dermal Skin Testing and Immunotherapy for allergic dogs and cats in 2004. In 2010, in collaboration with Heska AG, he introduced Heska Allercept tests with a specific Asian panel for South East Asia, which is the only test available in Singapore which is for allergens specific to Singapore. He continues to see referral dermatology cases at his practice at Hillside Veterinary Surgery Pte Ltd.
