EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN

In Case of Emergency:
1. Call SLU Safety and Security at (315) 229-5555 from a cell phone or x5555 from a SLU landline.
a. Tell the security dispatcher that you need an emergency transport vehicle at your location (give location to the best of your ability). They will then dispatch Canton Rescue and send security personnel to your location.
2. Instruct the dispatcher to refer EMS to your facility location
3. Provide the following information to Safety and Security Dispatcher:
a. Name, location, phone number of caller
b. Number of victims, condition of victims
c. First-aid treatment initiated
d. Other information as requested by dispatcher
4. Provide appropriate emergency care until arrival of EMS personnel. Upon arrival of EMS, provide pertinent information (method of injury, vital signs, treatment rendered, medical history) and assist with the emergency care as needed.
5. Notify home Certified Athletic Trainer as soon as possible in an emergency situation.

Third Person – Meet EMS @ Access Point
Fourth Person, etc. – Assist with Emergency care/Crowd control
