For the third year in a row, SLST - East contributed to the Roberson Museum and Science Center’s Home for the Holidays decorated tree exhibit. This year, the tree sought to highlight some of the many facets of the school library, with handmade ornaments representing reading, inquiry, and makerspaces in the form of miniature picture books, magnifying glasses, and LEGOs. Elegant glass ornaments featured the new SLST - East logo. A ribbon garland with glittering text spelled out the words Technology, Collaboration, Literacy, Research, Books, and Makerspace and the tree topper was created using pages from discarded books with the library symbol in the center.
