• User Settings: Preferences such as target weight, visualization modes, and notification settings.

• Photo Data: Custom background images you select are stored locally in the app's document directory.

B. Permissions

To provide specific features, we may request access to certain system permissions:

• Photo Library (NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription): Required only if you choose to save achievement cards or custom background images to your device's photo gallery. We do not access or view your other photos.

• Notifications: Required to send you alerts when your meal timer is finished.

2. How We Use Your Information

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, we do not use your information for advertising, tracking, or profiling. The data stored on your device is used solely for the purpose of:

• Calculating and displaying your meal statistics (e.g., average meal time).

• Providing a personalized user experience (e.g., displaying your chosen background image).

• Calculating recommended calorie intake based on the weight input you provide locally.

3. Third-Party Services

SlowBite does not integrate with third-party analytics (like Google Analytics or Firebase) or advertising networks (like AdMob). Your usage data is not shared with any third parties.

4. Children's Privacy

SlowBite does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data (though our app does not have a mechanism to collect such data remotely), please contact us.
