Overview
Slotwise is a medication check-in planner that lets users create profiles, enter medication details, view scheduled doses, and record dose actions such as taken, snoozed, or skipped. The app is designed to store user-entered app data locally on the device.
Information We Collect
Slotwise stores information you enter into the app, including profile names, profile colors, medication names, medication form, dosage text, schedule details, archived status, dose records, notes, and app settings such as the active profile and theme mode. This information is stored locally using Hive app storage.
Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
Slotwise does not include an account system, authentication, analytics SDK, ads SDK, crash reporting SDK, cloud sync, location access, camera access, microphone access, contacts access, or photo library access. The app does not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, images, audio, or account credentials.
How We Use Information
Locally stored information is used to show medication schedules, profile-specific medication lists, dose history, settings, and deletion/reset behavior inside the app. Product identifiers are used to display optional contribution items and to validate whether a purchase update matches a known contribution product.
Data Sharing
Slotwise does not send your locally stored profiles, medication details, settings, or dose records to a developer-operated server. Data may be processed by Google Play services when you use in-app purchases. The privacy policy screen loads a Google Sites page in a WebView.
Third-Party Services
Slotwise uses Google Play Billing through the in_app_purchase package for voluntary contribution purchases. The app includes a WebView that loads the privacy policy URL. Internet permission is present for WebView and billing-related network access. No advertising or analytics SDK was identified in the inspected source code.
Data Storage and Security
Your app data is stored locally on your device through Hive storage. The inspected source code does not implement a custom encryption layer or cloud backup service. Device-level protections, operating system storage controls, and any platform backup behavior may apply depending on your device settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your information remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, uninstall the app, clear app data, or use the in-app Delete All Data option. The Delete All Data option clears profiles, medications, dose logs, settings, and then creates a default local profile.
Children’s Privacy
Slotwise is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated account or server.
User Choices
You can add, edit, archive, or delete medication entries where the app provides those controls. You can manage profiles, switch dark mode, view the privacy policy, make optional contribution purchases, or delete all local app data from Settings.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when app behavior, platform requirements, or third-party services change. The effective date will be updated when changes are made.
