Privacy Policy
SLIT Support (the “App”) establishes this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) as follows regarding the handling of user information in the App.
Article 1. Information Collected
The App may collect the following information when Users use the App.
Information entered by Users in the App
Information related to sublingual immunotherapy, medication records, treatment type, reminder settings, notes, and other information entered by Users in the App.Information related to use of the App
App launch status, screen viewing history, operation history, feature usage status, subscription status, purchase history, advertisement display and usage status, crash logs, defect information, and similar information.Information related to devices and communications
Device information, operating system information, App version, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, communication environment, date and time of use, and similar information.Information related to inquiries
Inquiry details, email address, and other information necessary for responding to inquiries.
Article 2. Purpose of Use
The App uses the collected information for the following purposes.
To provide, maintain, protect, and improve the App.
To provide features such as records, timers, reminders, calendars, and reports related to sublingual immunotherapy.
To notify Users of announcements, important notices, campaign information, and similar information within the App.
To analyze usage of the App and use the results to improve convenience, improve quality, fix defects, and develop new features.
To deliver and display advertisements and measure their effectiveness.
To confirm paid plan purchase status, provide subscription features, and prevent unauthorized use.
To respond to inquiries from Users.
To respond to acts that violate the Terms of Service or this Policy.
For purposes incidental to the above purposes.
Article 3. Handling of Health-Related Information
The App uses records related to sublingual immunotherapy entered by Users for the purpose of providing features such as record display, reminders, and report creation.
The App does not collect or use User information for the purpose of providing medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or any guarantee of treatment effects.
The App does not use records related to sublingual immunotherapy entered by Users for advertising delivery purposes without the User’s consent.
Article 4. Use of External Services
The App may use external services for purposes such as usage analysis, advertisement delivery, defect analysis, confirmation of subscription status, and inquiry handling.
Information such as device information, advertising identifiers, App usage information, crash logs, purchase status, and other necessary information may be transmitted to external service providers within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
The external services used by the App may include the following types of services.
Analytics services
Crash analysis services
Advertising delivery services
Subscription management services
Inquiry management services
Push notification delivery services
Please refer to the privacy policies and other rules of each service provider for information on how these external services handle information.
Article 5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The App will not provide Personal Information to third parties without obtaining the prior consent of the User, except in the following cases. However, this excludes cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan or other applicable laws and regulations.
When required by laws and regulations.
When it is necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual concerned.
When it is particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the healthy development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual concerned.
When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, local public authority, or a person entrusted by such an agency or authority in performing duties prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual concerned may interfere with the performance of such duties.
When the App entrusts all or part of the handling of Personal Information to an external service provider within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
When Personal Information is provided as a result of succession of business due to a merger, business transfer, or other reason.
Article 6. Management of Personal Information
The App endeavors to take necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, loss, damage, unauthorized access, and similar risks related to the information it collects.
Article 7. Disclosure of Personal Information
When the App is requested by the individual concerned to disclose Personal Information, the App will respond without delay in accordance with laws and regulations after confirming the identity of the individual.
However, the App may decide not to disclose all or part of the information if disclosure would fall under any of the following cases. If the App decides not to disclose the information, it will notify the individual concerned without delay.
When disclosure may harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the individual concerned or a third party.
When disclosure may significantly interfere with the proper implementation of the App’s business.
When disclosure would otherwise violate laws and regulations.
Article 8. Correction, Deletion, and Suspension of Use of Personal Information
If a User’s Personal Information held by the App is not accurate, or if permitted by laws and regulations, the User may request the App to correct, delete, or suspend the use of such Personal Information in accordance with the procedures specified by the App.
If the App receives such a request from the User and determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the App will respond without delay in accordance with laws and regulations and notify the User of the result.
Article 9. Retention Period of Information
The App retains collected information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use.
When information is no longer necessary for the purposes of use, the App endeavors to delete or anonymize such information by an appropriate method, except where retention is necessary under laws and regulations or for business purposes.
Article 10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
The App may change the contents of this Policy as necessary.
If this Policy is changed, the App will publish the revised contents within the App or by another method designated by the App.
