SLISE/SLINKI 2025

at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC

We are happy to welcome you to the combined 15th Spanish Linguistics in the Southeast (SLISE) and Spanish Linguistics in North Carolina (SLINKI) conference at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, on Friday, February 14, for the plenary talk (speaker: Dr. Luis González), and on Saturday, February 15, 2025, for the conference presentations and posters.  The SLISE/SLINKI conference features talks by leading faculty and students conducting research in the field of linguistics.

SLISE is an annual conference focusing on research in all areas of linguistics related to the Spanish language, with a special focus on research conducted by researchers in the Southeast or related to Spanish in the Southeast.

The SLINKI conference was founded in 2011 by faculty at North Carolina State University and Fayetteville State University, in order to share research and encourage collaboration among faculty and students across North Carolina and throughout the southeast.

Though the conference has a regional emphasis, we warmly invite submissions from researchers throughout the country.
