International Workshop on Smart Learning by Emerging Educational Paradigm

affiliated to the 2nd International Symposium on Emerging Technologies for Education (SETE 2017)

Description of workshop:

Innovative technology and application always attract a lot of educational researchers’ attention as they can be used to realize emerging educational paradigm. Researchers believe that the emerging educational paradigm can powerfully promote student learning because they are capable of enabling students to engage in smart learning. Thus, there are more and more studies trying to develop the emerging educational paradigm so as to provide students with smart learning. In this workshop, our goal is to explore Smart Learning by Emerging Educational Paradigm and identify the emerging research topics on Smart Learning. This workshop will hold a forum including the paper presentations and interactive sessions for bringing together researchers to focus on understanding recent developments this arena and establishing new collaborations in this one.

Topics of interest:

The workshop will seek original contributions in all relevant areas exploring Smart Learning by Emerging Educational Paradigm including (but not limited to) the following topics:

  • Smart Learning by augmented/virtual reality
  • Smart Learning by cloud computing
  • Smart Learning by collaborative technology
  • Smart Learning by digital game
  • Smart Learning by innovative technology
  • Smart Learning by intelligent technology

  • Smart Learning by multimedia technology
  • Smart Learning by personalized technology
  • Smart Learning by social technology
  • Smart Learning by wearable technology

Submission format:

Authors are invited to submit papers in a Full Paper (having a maximum of 10 pages) or a Short Paper (having a maximum of 6 pages) format. Papers exceeding the page limits will be rejected without review. Please use the Springer Proceedings format for submission. Template is available here:
