This Privacy Policy describes how Pomodoru ("the App", "we", "our") handles your information. The App is published on Google Play under the developer name "Slate Lab" with package ID com.slate.focustile.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information about you.
All your timer history, settings, and statistics are stored locally on your device only, in a private SQLite database.
The App displays banner ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect a non-personal advertising identifier (Ad ID) for ad delivery purposes. You can disable this at the Android system level.
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Remove Ads / Pro") processed entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
The App is intended for users aged 13 or older.
None. We do not operate any server, account system, analytics backend, or telemetry pipeline. The App functions entirely offline once installed.
The following data stays on your device and never leaves it:
Pomodoro session history (start time, duration, completion status)
User settings (language, theme, timer length, daily goal, palette, notification preferences)
Pro entitlement flag (whether you have purchased "Remove Ads")
If you uninstall the App, this data is deleted by the Android system.
When you have not purchased the "Remove Ads" upgrade, the App displays a single banner advertisement at the bottom of the home screen via Google AdMob.
For ad delivery, Google may collect:
The Android Advertising ID (a resettable, device-level identifier used by all Android apps that show ads)
Approximate non-precise location (derived from network/IP)
Coarse device information (model, OS version, screen size, language)
Diagnostic and crash data related to the AdMob SDK itself
This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We, the developer, do not receive, store, or have access to this data. We only see aggregate, anonymized revenue reports in the AdMob dashboard.
You can:
Reset your Android Advertising ID at any time (Android Settings > Privacy > Ads).
Opt out of personalized advertising at the Android system level.
Permanently remove all ads by purchasing the one-time "Remove Ads (Pro)" in-app upgrade.
The App offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase: pro_remove_ads ("Remove Ads / Pro").
Payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing.
We never see your credit card number, billing address, or any payment details.
After purchase, the entitlement flag is stored locally on your device and synced via the Google Play account on cold start (getAvailablePurchases). This sync is between your device and Google Play; we do not intermediate.
Refunds are handled by Google Play according to their refund policy.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to deliver the Pomodoro completion notification when your session ends.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — so your completion notification fires at the exact scheduled time even when the device is in Doze (idle screen-off) mode. Pomodoros are time-critical; without this, notifications can be deferred by minutes.
VIBRATE — to vibrate on session completion (only when you enable vibration in Settings).
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to restore the home-screen widget after device reboot.
No internet permission for app data — the App itself never connects to any server. The internet permission used by AdMob is solely for ad fetching.
The App is intended for users aged 13 or older, due to the inclusion of advertising. We do not knowingly direct the App to children under 13 (US, COPPA), under 16 (EU, GDPR-K), or to minors in other jurisdictions. The App is not enrolled in Google Play's "Designed for Families" program.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App, please contact us at ablation2971@gmail.com and we will assist within the scope possible (note: since we collect no data, there is typically nothing for us to delete).
Because all your data lives on your device:
To delete all data, uninstall the App from your device.
To reset specific data without uninstalling, use the in-app Settings > Reset options (when available).
We retain no copy of your data on any server, because no server exists.

The App is available globally on Google Play and is currently localized in English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified), and Spanish. Because we collect no data, there is no cross-border data transfer initiated by us. Data collected by Google AdMob is governed by Google's policies and is processed on Google's global infrastructure.
Local data on your device is protected by the Android sandboxing model — only the App itself can read its own database. We recommend you keep your device locked with a PIN, password, or biometric.
We do not transmit your data, so there is no transit-layer attack surface on our side. Google AdMob and Google Play Billing both use HTTPS.
We may update this policy when the App's behavior changes (for example, if a future version adds new third-party SDKs or new permissions). Material changes will be reflected by:
An update to the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
A note in the Google Play release notes for the affected version
(For significant changes) An in-app prompt on first launch of the new version
Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
