Shujinko

Shujinko is a dead samurai and farmer that first introduced spirit animals to Japan a long time ago. He is seen as a blue spirit who keeps the forest from any attackers and hunters. He gets into a fight with Hajito and Akane in Episode 17. When he descends, he drops a blue sword onto the ground which yields great responsibility.

• In Episode 17, the duel between him and the Jiangsu was caused by some Jiangsu members mistaking the animals for food.

• He is encountered by the Jiangsu while they venture off to go to Senso no Shima.
