My name is Shanna Slank. I'm a philosopher. 

In fall 2022, I joined the UNC-Chapel Hill philosophy department as a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor and the Kenan Ethics Institute at Duke as a researcher.

From 2019 to 2022, I was an assistant professor at Kansas State University. 

I like to think about the nature of morality, about what it is to live well, and how we can know these things. I'm interested in how answers to these questions shape and are shaped by various kinds of social injustices.
