SKOPOS (“the App”) is a threat-intelligence application developed by Voutselas Group (“we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
Account information
The App does not require an account or login.
Searches and network requests
The App connects to the SKOPOS backend to retrieve threat intelligence. IOC Hunt searches and selected filters are sent to the backend to return matching results.
When you connect, our server and infrastructure providers receive your IP address and technical request information, such as the requested endpoint and connection time. Search terms may appear in request URLs.
Please avoid submitting passwords, credentials or confidential personal information in searches.
Information stored on your device
The App stores cached intelligence, watchlist keywords, saved items and configuration information locally. This supports offline access and preserves your selections.
Watchlist keywords are matched locally against available intelligence. The App does not provide a watchlist synchronization service.
Support communications
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and any information you include so that we can respond.
Information is processed to:
Retrieve and display threat intelligence.
Return search results.
Maintain your local watchlist and saved items.
Provide access to previously cached intelligence.
Respond to support requests.
The current App does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone or precise device location.
[Before publication, specify the hosting, proxy or security providers that process app requests; whether IP addresses, request URLs or search queries are retained; the purposes of any logging; and the retention and deletion periods. Include the retention period for support correspondence.]
The App includes links to original articles, intelligence sources and other external websites. These may open in an in-app browser.
When you open a third-party website, that provider receives your connection information and may use cookies or other technologies under its own privacy policy. These websites operate independently of SKOPOS.
Connections between the App and the SKOPOS backend use HTTPS.
You can remove watchlist keywords and saved items within the App. Deleting the App from your device removes its local app data; offloading the App may retain that data. Copies included in device backups are managed through your Apple backup settings.
Deleting the App does not delete any server logs or support correspondence. To request information about, or deletion of, personal information we hold, contact us using the details below.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to its processing, or receive a portable copy.
You may contact us to exercise applicable rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
SKOPOS is intended for security professionals and people researching cybersecurity. It is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
We may update this policy when the App or our information-handling practices change. The revised policy will be published on our website with an updated date.
