Skilld is owned and operated by Stuff
Technologies, a CAC registered company
in Nigeria. This Privacy Policy explains
how we collect, use and protect your
personal information when you use the
Skilld mobile application.
By using Skilld you agree to the
collection and use of information in
accordance with this policy.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect the following information
when you register and use Skilld:
Personal Information:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Profile photo (optional)
- Location (Lagos LGA)
Artisan-specific Information:
- Trade category
- Years of experience
- Bio/description
- Work photos (optional)
Usage Information:
- Profile views
- App activity
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Display your profile to other users
- Connect customers with artisans
- Send important account notifications
- Improve the Skilld platform
- Respond to your enquiries and support
requests
4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information
to third parties.
Your profile information including name,
phone number, category, location, work
photos and bio is visible to other users
of the Skilld platform as this is the
core purpose of the app.
We may share your information with:
- Firebase (Google) — for authentication
and database storage
- Cloudinary — for image hosting
- Meta (Facebook) — for app analytics
and advertising measurement
5. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Your data is stored securely on Firebase
(Google Cloud) servers. We implement
appropriate technical measures to protect
your personal information against
unauthorised access, alteration or
disclosure.
However no method of transmission over
the internet is 100% secure and we cannot
guarantee absolute security.
6. THIRD PARTY SERVICES
Skilld uses the following third party
services:
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication
and database
- Cloudinary — Image storage and delivery
- Meta SDK — App analytics and install
attribution
Each of these services has their own
Privacy Policy governing their use of
your information.
7. ARTISAN INDEPENDENCE
Artisans listed on Skilld are independent
contractors and not employees of Stuff
Technologies. Skilld is a listing platform
only and is not responsible for the
conduct quality of work or actions of
any artisan or customer on the platform.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Skilld is not intended for users under
the age of 18. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from
children under 18.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Update or correct your information
via the Edit Profile screen
- Delete your account and all associated
data via the Delete Account option in
the app
- Request data deletion via our data
deletion form
10. DATA DELETION
To request deletion of your account and
all associated data you can:
- Use the Delete Account feature inside
the Skilld app, or
- Submit a request via our Data Deletion

Your data will be permanently deleted
within 7 business days of your request.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from
time to time. We will notify you of any
changes by updating the "Last updated"
date at the top of this policy.
Continued use of Skilld after any changes
constitutes your acceptance of the new
Privacy Policy.
